Abstract

We implemented national questionnaire investigation by the diagnostic radiography condition in 2001 and we estimated patient exposure doses. There was little estimated dose than the IAEA guidance level and the reduction goal values of the Japan association of radiological technologists in all exposure sites. In case of "chest, high voltage", there were more CR systems than the S/F systems. In case of "lumber spine, lateral view", the CR systems were nearly equal the S/F systems. Estimated patient exposure doses in the diagnostic radiography in 2001 could be grasped.
