ConfVisor: A Task Management System for Non-professional Convention Planners

Abstract

In tourism industry, information system has been developing to help travel agency and travelers to make their decisions and trading. In this decade, convention business is one of important types of business in tourism, however academic contributions in this field are not provided. Because the convention business develops, participants and planners consume highly amount of money to hold, attend and travel. Japan government recognizes that the convention business is needed to grow up effectively. In this paper, we propose a novel support system to help convention planners make their events efficiently.
