Abstract
8 cases with melanosis faciei feminae (pigmented contact dermatitis) had visited our clinic from December 1982 to November 1983. All 8 patients were patch tested with cosmetics which they used at their first visits. But 3 patients did not have the cosmetics which they had used when they had recognized their skin eruptions at fiest. And 129 allergens which were thought to be relevant to their skin conditions were also patch tested. Three patients were shown positive reactions to tar dye Sudan I (PAN), and 2 patients to R-219. Irg CF 3 and TCC were not reacted in any case. In this year, we recognized the decrease of cosmetics positive cases and increase of daily necessaries positive cases mainly flannel night clothes.
