Abstract

A 25-year-old woman had a right massive caudate hemorrhage without intraventricular rupture. The patient bled 3 times and underwent resection of the hematoma each time. She was diagnosed finally with an arteriovenous malformation after the third operation. Follow-up magnetic resonance images during intermission-helped guide resection of the lesion.
