Abstract

We performed the skin safety evaluation of Improved Simaron Gel by 48 hours closed patch test in patients with skin diseases. Improved Simaron Gel containing 0.05% fluocinonide included 1, 3 butylene glycol and polyethylene glycol 400 as vehicle components instead of propylene glycol which was used in Simaron Gel. And we could take the results as follow. The skin irritant index of Simaron Gel was 38.33, while those of Improved Simaron Gel and its vehicle were 6. 73 and 5. 00. So we could prove the superiority of Improved Simaron Gel compared with Simaron Gel.
