Suggestions for creation of the guideline on "diagnosis and treatment of orbital floor fractures" -through clinical questions about indication and timing of the operation

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

There are many opinions that acceptance of the guideline based on evidence is difficult in the plastic surgery field because several subjective factors arise in selection and evaluation of the treatment. I undertook the creation of a guideline on "indication and timing of the operation on "diagnosis and treatment of orbital floor fractures". After repeated trial and error, the guideline was completed revealing several problems and clarifying the obstacles to solving them. I thus propose creation of the best guideline available at present from the experience obtained to date.
