Swallowing reseach and clinical application using 320 area detector CT

Abstract

320 Area Detector CT (320-ADCT) has brought the new horizon in swallowing clinic and research. The innovation of 320-ADCT is the dynamic three-dimensional visualization and the quantitative evaluation. It plays a remarkable role in kinematic analysis of swallowing and leads further understanding of normal swallowing mechanisms and abnormal swallowing kinematics as well. In this paper, the utility of quantitative measurement is introduced with three-dimensional images and measurement data.
