Abstract

The technological advancements in multislice computed tomography (MSCT) with 4 to 64-slice detector improved the image quality of coronary CT Angiography. Recently a 256-slice CT with area detector was developed. It shows great promise as a useful tool for clear image without banding artifacts of coronary artery. Equipment of ECG-gated scan and methods of radiation dose reduction will make 256-slice CT more useful.
