N2 - As a professional clinic engineer, he needs to learn a large amount of theoretical knowledge and operation skills for different medical machines. However, it is known that a total mastering of so large amount of knowledge and skills are difficult only by studying in university within a limited time. For helping the student towards the clinic engineer, a training system with information communication was proposed in this study. In the proposed system, a few of the most popular problems a clinic engineer may meet in hospital when operating practical medical machines were selected, studied and some solutions for related training methods were suggested. As a typical example, the training system used for dialysis puncture technique in hemodialysis was firstly selected. In more detail, an arm model and a simulation circuit for dialysis operation were produced. The operations upon several skilled clinical engineers were recorded and their movements were quantitatively extracted to form suitable indexes for the evaluation of training effects. By using the system with puncture operation exercise mostly similar to the practical ones over human bodies, it is possible for the students to get a deeper understanding upon the holding style of the needle, the tracks and angles of dialysis puncture by doing repeatable practices with real-timely evaluation on each operation practice.
