抄録

A 58-year-old woman noticed itchy erythema on the eyelids after she applied eye drops containing ketotifen fumarate to her eyes for allergic conjunctivitis. Patch testing showed positive reactions to two eyedrops and their active agent, ketotifen fumarate. She did not react to seven substances which have similar structures to ketotifen fumarate; tiaprofen, suprofen, nortriptyline hydrochloride, amitriptyline hydrochloride, cyproheptadine hydrochloride, clemastine fumarate and dosulepin hydrochloride.
