抄録
A 5-year-old boy developed low back pain after bridge gymnastics. In a few hours, he showed disturbance of gait and urinary retention. Thoracic-lumbar MRI showed the high intensity area in the longitudinal direction from Th9 level spinal cord to the conus medullaris in T2-weighted images. He was recovered with steroid pulse treatment. Because onset of the injury was similar to Surfer's myelopathy, we speculated pathogenesis of this injury in the report.
