Using two systems, a series of recordings were carried out to detect the low potential electrocardiogram (His bundle activity) from a body surface. System 1: On-line digital averaging system. System 2: High-gain, low-noise DC pre-amplifier plus main-amplifier. Five dogs and three men were tested twenty times. System 1 recorded signal averaging (sampling frequency : 2KHz, 12 bit A/D converter) of body surface potential 100-1000 times. System 2 recorded without signal averaging. Both systems provided low-potential ECG data that was confirmed independently by cardiac catheterization and other means.
