抄録

Heart rate variability is the physiological, spontaneous, and stationary fluctuation of RR interval as a result of autonomic, vasomotor, and humoral homeostasis. It is widely known that a variety of pathological conditions are associated with decreased heart rate variability. Previous reports have shown that decreased heart rate variability predicts the occurrence of adverse events during the perioperative period. It has also been demonstrated that successful treatment of some pathological conditions may be associated with the recovery of heart rate variability. Heart rate variability has potential to stratify perioperative risk or evaluate the effectiveness of some treatments.
