The clinical efficacy of Bathquina (bath oil containing squalane, cholesterol, triglycerides, white mineral oil and rice germ oil) was evaluated in 21 cases of atopic dermatitis. Improvements were observed in dryness (89.5%), scale (89.5%), and fissure (90.0%). Also, an improvement in dryness except skin lesion (84.2%). The improvement rating (taking into account moderate to marked improvements) was 76.2%, and the utility rating (taking into account moderately to very useful) was 76.2%. The measurement of the water content of the homy layer was made just before and after the experiment, and a significantly higher moisturizing effect was found after the experiment (p <0.05). From the results, it is considered that Bathquina is helpful for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and is a useful bath oil for the patient.
