Twenty-six patients treated with prostate brachytherapy between April to November 2013 were reviewed. Fourteen patients were implanted with loose seeds, twelve patients with linked seeds. Operation time, the number of migration from prostatic region, prostatic dose, rectal dose and urethra dose were compared. Operation time of linked seeds need a long operation time than loose seeds. The number of migration were not significantly different between the two groups. Rectal dose were significantly higher in linked seeds treated group, but prostatic dose and urethra dose were not significantly different between the two groups.
