Creation of an instant wrapping clip with GORE-TEX® sheet

Using a sheet of GORE-TEX® it is possible to simply and instantly produce an encircling aneurysm clip. Two blades of a conventional angled aneurysm clip are bridged with a folded piece of GORE-TEX® sheet. Circumferential enclosure of an artery with the GORE-TEX® sheet and aneurysm clip enable the artery to be firmly wrapped. By selecting the aneurysm clip from the wide variety of commercially available clips, fragile, small and broad-based aneurysms can be securely wrapped along with the parent vessel.
