抄録

Effect of balofloxacin, a new pyridone carboxylic acid antibiotic, on neutrophil chemotaxis and phagocytosis was examined in vitro. Balofloxacin showed no significant effect on neutrophil chemotaxis and phagocytosis. The present study seems to suggest that balofloxacin do not affect neutrophil cell function directly in vivo.
