抄録

Monomorphic adenoma is a rare tumor which account for less than 2% of all salivary gland tumor. In particular, monomorphic adenomas which arise from the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are very rare. To our knowledge, this is only the second case of a monomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum ever reported. Recently, we treated a 71-year-old male with a monomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum, who presented the sensation of a foreign body in his left nasal cavity. We performed an intranasal operation, and recognized a tumor arising from the nasal septum. There has been no evidence of recurrence since his discharge from the hospital.
