Using Anonymous Data to Assess Dissaving Risk against Life Expectancy for Elderly People

No database exists suitable for revealing the impact on economic activities caused by dementia. Therefore, we have aimed to obtain the principles to resolve its influence through analyzing related databases. In order to detect the capability deterioration of economic activity for elderly people at age of sixty-five or older, we have used an anonymous data set obtained from the National Survey of Family Income and Expenditure (NSFIE) carried out by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). So far we have developed a method to detect dissaving risk of elderly people through clustering. However, the initial method showed limitations for improvement. Therefore, we propose another method to detect dissaving risk. Here, the analysis data are divided into test data and training data. The test data will then be processed through primary/secondary determination according to the amount of savings. If one test data is processed with secondary determination, three kinds of methods are performed in terms of income and savings. As a result of analysis, correct judgment rate exceeds 80% for single females.
